WATERFORD — A Waterford man charged with dealing heroin and marijuana appeared Wednesday (June 26) in Oxford County Superior Court in Paris, according to a Paris District Court clerk.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency released this photograph Wednesday of heroin, guns, cash and prescription pills seized Tuesday afternoon at the home of Seth Zupokfska, 21, of 16 Mockingbird Drive in Waterford. The heroin is at bottom center between badges from the Oxford County Sheriff's Office and the MDEA.
Seth Zupokfska, 21, of 16 Mockingbird Drive was arrested Tuesday afternoon (June 25) at his home where investigators found 32 grams of heroin, nearly 5 pounds of processed marijuana, more than $6,000 in cash, and six weapons. The heroin reportedly has a street value of between $8,000 and $10,000.
Zupokfska was charged with aggravated trafficking in heroin and marijuana, aggravated cultivation of marijuana and violating conditions of release. He was unable to pay $10,000 cash bail and was returned to Oxford County Jail.
Zupokfska had been free on bail from a Feb. 6 arrest on a charge of unlawful possession of prescription painkillers in Waterford. His bail on that charge was revoked Wednesday.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agency resident agent Cpl. Chancey Libby arrested Zupokfska at his home, which is off Deer Hill Road in South Waterford, after Oxford County deputy sheriffs conducted a bail search there, according to an MDEA news release. While conducting the bail search, the deputies and Libby located approximately 32 grams of heroin and items indicative of heroin trafficking, the Wednesday release said.
The MDEA deferred comment to Oxford County Chief Deputy Hart Daley and Libby, who did not return calls.
Deputies also seized more than 4 1/2 pounds of processed marijuana, numerous prescription pills and more than $6,000 in cash, four loaded handguns and two rifles.
More arrests are expected as the MDEA and county sheriff's office continue their investigation, the news report stated.
Zupokfska attended the Streaked Mountain School, an alternative high school connected to Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in Paris. He has no public criminal records in Maine.
